Growing up a wrestler, I heard a lot of great names when conversing with friends and teammates on who the legends of the sport are. Although we all agree there is a "Best" between them all, we all have different opinions as to who it is.

Today, of talking with someone familiar with the sport of wrestling, the name most commonly brought up will be Cael Sanderson (Wrestled for Iowa State, four time NCAA Division one national champion, undefeated throughout his collegiate career and 2004 Ollympic gold medalist.). Undoubtedly a good candidate but does collegiate career alone dictate weather or not a wrestler is the greatest of all time?

Collegiate wrestling or what is also referred to as Folkstyle, is just one of three styles of wrestling and all three should be taken into consideration when trying to determine the greatest wrestler of all time. I intend to do just that and take a look at each style to figure out who really is the best wrestler of all time.
